Taylor's Butterfly

For this assignment we had to create a butterfly and a flower, How I created my flower was I started off my creating a star and making it a light pink color. I then made another star and made it smaller than the first and made the color a darker pink,I repeated this two more times. For the center of the flower I made a circle and put a sandpaper texture on the shape and made it a yellow color.I used the line tool to make the stem and then moved the points to make it bent. For my butterfly I started off with an oval and moved the points to create my desired shape of the wing.I then pressed the Alt  key and copied my image,Next I went to the modify tab, then down to transform and then flip horizontally so I have a mirror image,I then made a narrow oval for the center of my butterfly. For the objects on my butterfly I used the doughnut tool to make four pink circles on my butterfly, then I used the square tool and moved the points to create my other object and placed a vein texture .For the antenna I used the spiral tool, I then applied a drop shadow to my butterfly. For the background I used the square tool and made three squares each smaller than each other and then used the text tool to type my name.

Taylor's Rain Tree Spot Color

For this assignment we had to keep the original colors of the tree while making the background sepia tones.I started out my taking the lasso tool and out lined the tree, then I hit Ctrl-Shift-I then I went to the commands tab, selected Creative then clicked on Convert to Sepia Tones. This left the tree the original color, next i selected the magic wand tool and i changed my tolerance level to 20. This way I can select the exact colors I want. I used the wand to select all of the blue that was in the tree I hit the Shift key so I can select more than one area. After the areas I want are selected, I went back to the commands tab, selected Creative then clicked on Convert to Sepia Tones. this made the blue turn to the sepia color and the leaves on the trees stand out.

Taylor's Alphabet (font name-Finger Painting)

For this assignment we had to create our own font, first we had to choose a font that would be our base so I chose "AR CARTER". Next I typed the alphabet lower and uppercase letters A-Z, then I un-grouped them and made them each a separate layer. I then chose the white arrow so I can move the points to create my own letter shape,I then choose the scale tool to make the letters bigger.
